Beginning on February 27th and for the duration of the Spring semester our Training Group will be spending time discussing chapters from the following books.
Studio Art Therapy: Cultivating the Artist Identity in the Art Therapist by Catherine Hyland Moon. This book is available as an e-book through the Ulster University library catalogue.
The Revealing Image: Analytical Art Psychotherapy in Theory and Practice by Joy Schaverien. Our subject area librarian Lorna Reid, has ordered an e-book version of this book, which will hopefully be available at the end of March.
I have requested that these books be put on reserve in the library in the art therapy section (the 615 area in the book shelves, bottom floor).
During our book club demonstrate that you have read the book, by asking questions, sharing quotations and thoughtful reflections. Notes taken from your readings should be included in your Training Group Display Book. These notes may prove useful for assignments and projects, so include the reference for the book in Harvard Referencing format for this purpose.
